Dr. Ulrich Parzefall receives award for excellent supervision of PhD students
The University of Freiburg has recently awarded the University-wide prize for excellent supervision of doctoral students to Dr. Ulrich Parzefall (Institute of Physics).

At the official opening of the Academic Year 2025, Dr. Parzefall received the award certificate from Rector Prof. Dr. Kerstin Krieglstein. With this prize, the University of Freiburg recognizes his outstanding commitment as supervisor and expresses its appreciation for his extraordinary engagement in supervision of PhD students. Furthermore, the prize aims to further strengthen the supervisory culture at the University of Freiburg, increasing both the visibility and importance of the topic by highlighting examples of exceptionally good supervisory practice.
